Next....I am trying to edit these and crop them in on the head.  He is really heavy with nice eye guards.

What do you think?  Is he a Mulie or a Blacktail???

He is on the east side of the state.  His legs are short like a blacktail and his horms look more like a blacktail than a typical mule deer.  He is close to the PCT kinda....wouldn't be unfeasable for this buck to be moving to the sunny side of the state in his old age.

Mulie, but may be a benchleg.  The light forehead is a giveaway but I'd also like to see his tail.  As for home ranges, older bucks actually reduce their activity level within their core home range as they age, and become less active.  It's unlikely that a buck would up and move out of his core home range in retirement  ;)
