My family and I hunted the LOLO for over twenty years and have seen first hand what the wolfs have done to the elk herds. Starting about in 2005 we really started noticing the decline, and by 2008 we were done. Almost every elk track had wolf tracks following. The number of elk severely declined and their behavior completely changed also. No doubt about it, they are killing machines and hopefully Washington gets a handle on them quick. If not we are in big trouble!
