Title: CZ-52?
Post by: jennyfell55 on November 18, 2011, 09:28:36 PM
I'm interested in picking one of these pistols up, but I've come across a problem, I can't find one! Now, I could order one online, but I'm afraid it'll arrive and it won't fit my hand or something like that. Is there any chance that someone on here has one they'd be willing to let me fondle? ;D

LOL oh wow  :-[ :yike: Whoops! OK... let me rephrase. Does anyone own a CZ-52 that would be willing to let me take a look and decide if I would like to purchase said  type of Czechoslovakian handgun? Better?  :chuckle:

Jenny, I looked into those when I was looking for a cheap fun gun to shoot and they are well made with a strong roller lockup and an inherently weak chamber floor. If you are looking to shoot the 7.62x25mm (it's a really fun and accurate round), look at the actual Tokarevs like this one :

They are MUCH more comfortable to shoot than they look and you can get aftermarket grips for them too, they are also much smaller than they look in the pictures. If you are just looking for a cheap concealable pistol that is still pretty cheap to shoot with modern ammunition the Makarovs aren't bad.

If you lived closer I would let you examine my tokarev...lol...my gf wouldn't allow any fondling I'm afraid :(
