Title: BT Down.
Post by: patton1 on November 19, 2011, 08:43:59 PM: Well it's not the one I was hoping for, but with one day left, I couldn't pass him up. I fought back in forth in my head for about 10 minutes before I decided to pull the trigger. I got him right through the heart with my muzzleloader and he made it about 15 yards. I really would have liked to let him grow but I also really like meat in my freezer. It's been a pretty good couple of years hunting these BT's. Next year I really hope to get to the East side of the state to do some Muley hunting. I really wanted to this year, but with my work/deployment schedule and having a family, it just didn't pan out. I have a year and a half left on this enlistment so next year might be my last chance at a WA Muley. I'm not sure where the road leads after that. I posted my BT bucks from the 3 years I have been out here so far. 1st-this year, 2nd-last year, 3rd-year before. It's been a little of a decline. :chuckle:

on the trails, we had the road to our left about 100 yds when he spooked a nice 3x 50yds in between
us and the road just laying down. Nice buck, congrats.... :tup:

Not even does. So starting thanksgiving weekend if they come back again they will die. Because in the end ya gotta fill ypur freezer. I've already got 1/2 an elk and 1 deer already. But I wqnt more. Still got three tags left.
