Well, in March we picked up this little punk...

He was and still "kinda" is a hell raiser... but only a few broken 2X4's later and he's comin too!

And this weekend he finally made meat! At 10 months old I could not be happier!

The public land bird hunting leaves something to be desired, even here in the beautiful Big Sky state... but we managed to knock a few down in front of him. One runner did get away! :'(

Springer Spaniels are the best.

Eburg, I'd swear this dog is half lab...he retrieves with every bit of enthusiasm any lab I've had or been around has had. Unreal. He'll retrieve birds or a dummy, dry land or water, until he cant move anymore (well, I actually have NOT got that far with him, as I get tired of it long before he does.) :chuckle:
