Light colored cow = old cow. Dark colored cow = young cow. Is that right or other way around? Don't want a tough old one. :bdid:
-
pick an old gray one . or look for a short stubby nose for some young freash meat .
-
Don't shoot the one that the rest are all following. Shoot one in the middle... ah hell just shoot any one...
-
No, no, no, no old grey one for me, too tough. :yike: One in the middle sounds good. I like that idea. Thanks guys!!
-
Shoot the first one on range  old ones make good burger! young ones make good steaks! medium aged ones make both!
-
It depends if there are multiple cow tag holders present.
No, shoot a middle of the pack.
Yes, shoot the the front runner. The others will stop because the brains of the operation just fell over. :chuckle:

Really i'd try to cull a old barron cow from the herd . Her work has been done and will eat just fine .

You'll never kill a bull when you are shooting cows..........

We have two cow tags for Dec. My goal is to have a freezer full of meat. I hate tag soup :chuckle:

Yeah I am all about shooting the one that fills the freezer....if she is brown put her down.
