Me a another member found something like tat in a doe last year but it was a green puss inside :dunno: Yeah we didn't butcher any of the meat around it
-
Cut into it, probably a foreign body that got caught under the skin. I found a bullet like that one time, all encapsulated in fat. I wouldn't worry to much about it.
-
They are fat tumors. Seen hundreds over the years butchering wild game... no biggie. Just make sure it is cut out.
-
I've found broken branches/bullets/antlers/arrows/a peice of rock/ and even a claw from a cougar.... (i think) in game I've skinned and or processed...... They have accidents and more life threatening injuries then we could ever imagine.... So who knows...... Only found a few with actual tumors and puss pockets for an unknown reason.. I just cut them off and get rid of anything you might question...
