Title: Type of oil to coat leather wrap
Post by: HoofsandWings on November 27, 2011, 09:15:18 PM
I understand that I should wrap the ml in leather to prevent water.
What kind of water preventive should I coat the leather?

I would avoid wrapping your mother in law in anything.  :chuckle:

For the leather my guess would be to use silicone spray. I treat my leather holster and ammo belt with silicone and this seems to not affect my handgun when stored in the leather holster.

Alright iceman, I will wrap my silcon sprayed deer hide around the ml.
That should keep the powder dry.
Thanks for the advice. These late ml hunts can be awfully wet.
