Never hunted this gmu for bears. Just looking for some advise.
I'm going for a camping trip near the town of Liberty off H.97 in a few weeks. I know the area fairly well, from dirtbike trails in the Orv park.
Anyone care to toss me some info about the area would greatly appreciated..
Thanks Edmondshunter

I personally have never seen a bear up there, but I have seen some sign. I have talked to alot of people who said they saw bears around Haney meadows so that may be worth a try.

I killed a bear not too far out of the Naneum unit in the Quilomene unit about 7 years ago, so they are in there. This one was just coming out of the timber and into the open sagebrush country headed for the river, in the middle of the day in August. Figured he must have been going for water.
