Sounds like it's not on the indian res, but close. I did a google search and came up with this:
The Cold Springs wildfire on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest near Mount Adams near the Yakima Indian Reservation was detected on Sunday morning. It was listed in excess of 500 acres and was being fought by contact retardant bombers flying out of the Troutdale (Ore.) Airport near Portland. A smoke column from the blaze was visible from parts of Portland to Vancouver, Wash. The fire is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike within the past couple of weeks.
