Saw this picture on an outfitter's page and thought it was interesting. We hunted with this outfitter last year and they HATE wolves!

no pic there

It is there now

The other difference is that you can talk about shooting one of them, and... :yike: :yike:

Looks like they need some more trees.
-
Wow, is that a really huge wolf, or just a really tiny coyote??
-
The Story is on the Billings Gazette Website from Montana. It also has a few more pictures. pretty interesting read.

so to determine the difference, shoot both, hang next to each other in a tree and the bigger of the two is the wolf! :IBCOOL: :lol4:
-
The article says that this particular wolf which was killing the farmers sheep was shot 300miles from where it was collared. :o
-
The one hanging from the tree is said to be 2 1/2yo and 98lbs. The coyote was shot at a nearby ranch.

The difference is a huge fine.... LOL !!!!

I think it is that one is perhaps a Steven's county coyote and one is a Whitman county coyote!
:chuckle:
-
C'mon officer, really how can you tell the difference ?? specially since you told me last week that there are no wolves here.
