-
Saw him at antlers in twisp last Saturday. Today is the last day.
-
Hope he's holding out for a good one

Yes it is good news. Hunted the same buck for 4 days. I will post pics when back in town. 140 class 4x4.

Good work!
I look forward to the pics and story.
-
Nice job, Cant wait to hear the story.
-
Congrats man, I thought that was you that called, the message was breaking up.
-
Awesome, congrats!
-
heres my 4x4 Pulled him right out the ditch. Some on here may know who it is, he is a member.... :chuckle:
-
:chuckle: what happened to the other half of his bull bar :dunno: did you guys figure out the hard way that you can't hook the chain there :bash:
-
Looks like he has a winch, couldn't pull himself out?
-
That would be me in the Ditch. :bash: As far as the missing bar thats a wild story with a wild Chick & a wild ride that I can't tell on a family friendly site :yike: I would have gotten out eventually with the Winch but there's a big hole right there with a covert sticking out that had me worried about potentially popping a tire so I needed a little extra pulling power. Thanks for the help Ken. As far as my Alta Muzzy hunt I shot at a 4x4 170 type Buck but killed a limb instead. :'( I could have shot a handful of Meat Bucks or a big Migrator 3pt on top of Chicamun but they weren't what I was looking for so its tag soup for me & I'm cool with that. I didn't see any Wolf sign but damn there's no shortage of Cats running around that area.
-
well Damn jimmy I been waiting patiently for huge Alta buck .... You had a good time anyway ...At least for the most part !!
-
We saw no wolf tracks either. Buddy got a big 2x2, he hasnt shot a deer sense high school. We where happy with that. His father ate tag soup, good time and memories.
-
Well it looks like you got him out whole. Makes it nice when you can get them right off the road like that! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
O.K. Sorry for the long wait, family, work, and taking care of a deer had to come 1st. My hunting partners including my son may kill me for posting but here it is. Twice this buck crossed the road within 50 yards of where I parked to walk in, within minutes of me heading up the mountain. We saw him (or one simlar) again on the bald hillside within 200 yards of the truck on the third day when we were looking at the truck through Bino's and saying damn it's a long ways back to the truck from the top of this mountain.. :bash: 4th day found him same area 40 yards off the road with a doe. The snow was crunchy and loud, and he could not care less about me. His nose was on the doe and he just stood there and watched as I drew up on him and fired. 40 yards standing broad side wide open... This was day 5 of the hunt, 1/2 hour before dark. I was in 2 point mode and this was a serious gift from the hunting Gods. I may be thinking wishful on the whole 140 class but any deer at that point in the hunt was a trophy. Big big neck and the smell..... wow does he stink.
-
Nice buck congrats!
-
Nice Job. Nothing wrong with that. It is about time you post :chuckle:
-
Wow, nice buck! Good job!
-
Congrats dude...thats a nice buck.

Nice buck. Gee I almost have to feel sorry for those bucks when they're thinking with the wrong head. :chuckle:
-
A couple more pics..
-
Here are a few more pics of the extraction of 50Cal's truck. This is what happens when your eyes are looking for deer instead of the road. :chuckle:
-
beautiful buck Boom
-
That was a no joke hole. Shot that buck up past the green gate on that road. We went back to look and I can't believe he did not tear something up coming out. You would think the guy would have bought us a beer,,, :dunno: :dunno: guess that's how those Husky fans are even when their team is winning. :o
-
Nice buck man!
Congrats on filling it, and getting yourself a dodge as well.. :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
I think the dodge may taste better... Those huskies just can't drive.... :chuckle:

Great buck for that area boomwhop. There are bigger out there but that buck does just fine. That hunt is no give me. It seems to be getting worse every year. Good job on harvesting a nice buck. That's funny another dodge in the ditch. :chuckle: sorry 50cal.
