great cameras....batteries go 4 -6 weeks
see my shots that I posted today on this category and see for yourself
the much discussed "ghost" buck and elk have stumped the experts......
other than that thumbs up

rule of thumb..flash cams vs IR cams... the IR ones will last longer on the batterys

I like the capture. pretty good battery life, good pictures, simple to use. I have a Capture and a bushnell trophy cam. Both are good cameras.

in a residential area I can get 50 or more pics a night with does fawns coyotes coons etc over bait.....usually change at 30 days with or without low bat indicator, however, it can go much longer with fewer pictures

I always date them with a magic marker because I can't remember which ones I put in each camera at different times

buy them at Costco.....much cheaper, especially on coupon....my recycle bin is unbelievable this time of year....

and just for the record, my Capture IR (in my opinion) never lasted...same experience with a buddy.....dumped it and stuck with flash....unless you are trying to capture criminals stealing your tools, I like the quality of flash over IR

That bear would make a nice "pissed off" bear rug.
