Title: Moved my camara, looks good
Post by: coonhound on July 13, 2008, 08:01:52 PM: I've had my camera out for a couple months and I've got a ton of deer, elk and a couple bears coming in but not the mature bucks I've been looking for. I've had another spot that's been plaguing my mind so I pulled the camera and put it up in my new spot yesterday morning. There was a ton of fresh sign so I felt pretty good about it. I couldn't stand it so I went up this evening and checked it, not monsters but a good start for only 1 1/2 days.

Of course there's more to the story, I took a walk last night into a clear cut above my old spot and what did I see, you guessed it to huge bucks. 1 was a nice wide and heavy 3 x 4 and the other was a super tall 4 x 4 with huge eye guards. Now my dilemma, do I stick it out where I'm at or try to get one of these big boys? :dunno: (actually my best bet would be a couple more cameras ;) )

Post by: coonhound on July 19, 2008, 10:28:08 AM: scoyoc5 and I went back out and checked it again, it's been in it's new spot for 1 week. I've had deer come in every day but still no huge bucks. I think I'll give it another week, if nothing big comes in I'll try another spot.
