Title: Capper for hunting
Post by: moosedrool on December 02, 2011, 01:41:50 PM: Hey guys.....what capper do you use for hunting? Seems all the ones I see carry way more than one would need in the field. This would be for #11 caps.

For that set up you will want to get a straight line capper I use the one from traditions. It will seem a little awkward at first because primers seem to want to fall out while your pulling the capper off. To beat that I start a cap in the capper and then as I am pushing it over the nipple I rotate the gun towards the capper side so that the caps inside the capper fall back and then pull it off the nipple. It takes about 10 times to get comfortable with it.
