It has been just a little over 2 yrs since i had to put down my GSP, i said i was done with hunting dogs then. Yeah like you can stick to that, always leaves a hole when your without a hunting dog, so after much pleading from Lady Buckmark and making the mistake of saying "Hey i want a springer as my next dog, when i am ready" she decided we were ready.
Meet Raynee moo moo, (Lb says her markings make her look like a cow) or as i call her Ray for short.
I am in big trouble now.....
On a serious note, any recommendations for a hunting dog trainer in snohomish/skagit areas??? I hunt mostly upland, and have only had GSP's so a flusher will be different..

We love our springer, great family dog, does better than I deserve in the field. Hardly any time training, works great and finds the birds.

Showed the wife the photo today. This could be trouble. We are going to start looking for a new pup for the spring.

Pretty Pup!
We are getting our second mid Jan. A little girl. Our current Springer (Jack) blew out his ACL. Waiting for his platelet count to get back up (some kind of auto-immune thingy) so we can get his knee fixed.
These dogs are awesome! Smart. Loving.
I know Al. But I train with WWESSC on fort Lewis. There are some other clubs around too.
It has really helped me. There is a lot to learn. I am very lucky to have one of the best minds when it comes to Springers to help me. That is where we got Jack.
Good luck and let me know if you need any advice on training.

Looks like she's already getting an attitude. Like most women she'll think she owns the place in no time - if not already.
