I have a TC Encore that is currently set up as a centerfire rifle but was considering getting the muzzleloader barrel for it to get into ML, which I have not attempted yet.
My question is, does anyone have anything good, bad or ugly to say about it and can the 209 ignition system on this be converted to regular caps to be legal in WA?

I have the tc prohunter with the muzzy barrel. Don't know if it will fit your model but I will sell it. As far as I know you cant use it for muzzy season but you can use it during modern. Let me know if interested never been fired

Just an FYI, the Encore is not a legal muzzleloader in the state of WA. No exposed nipple. And yes, the pro hunter barrel fits the non-pro hunter action. The only difference in the Pro hunter barrel is fluting.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will go with a different ML since the real reason I would want to use it here would be for the season options. I just thought the TC may work since I have the action and I know TC make a quality gun.
I may just build a Hawken from a kit which I have always wanted to do anyway.
