Title: CVA apex?
Post by: fishingnut71 on December 11, 2011, 02:43:23 PM: Thinkin abut this gun for my wife this year in either 25-06 or 7mm-08. Does anyone know the quality and accuracy of the as Im a bolt action guy. Thought a single shot would be easy for her.

Post by: Encore 280 on December 12, 2011, 08:11:30 AM: I've seen the ad on tv and they brag that it's "just a better gun" but I don't know. I do know that I sure like my Encore a whole bunch. I don't know what kind of caliber selection CVA has but I know T/C has a pretty wide variety of them plus a couple different barrel lenghts. Don't want anything too heavy for her to be packin around. Don't want anything too light either as far as recoil goes. I'd hit Cabela's or Sportsmans Whorehouse/Wholesale Sports to check em out. Good luck.
