Title: Desert archery
Post by: ribka on December 11, 2011, 06:35:50 PM: Spent the past week in the Desert unit. Very frustrating with the dense fog and limited visibility, finished rut, no wind etc etc.... The bigger bucks out there were super wary and skittish. First few days passed on smallish bucks. ( big mistake). Spent today trying to get close to the guy on the left in this photo. Talked to 8 bow hunters today and no one has filled tag that I spoke to. A few hunters spoke to stopped hunting on Saturday.
