Reduce cow harvest in 204, 101, 105, 108, and 121. Looking to expand herd west into STevens, Ferry and Okanagon counties.

I like this.

More elk for wolves? Sorry I'm a little skeptic on their intentions.

That or more special permit $$$$$$$ and no more any elk. Spike only next?

I wish they would have added 124 to that list!

Its about time. They need to let the elk expand their range. If there were some more counties and areas that held elk then the woods during elk season wouldn't be so crowded. They should do this in Goldendale as well. :twocents:

Elk are hated in ferry county. Landowners graze cattle which is competition and you add on the free reign of indians....elk are trouble. I saw gobs of cows in the corner this year...almost wiped my truck out one day.

Dont be sorry, we all have more than enough reason to be skeptical, if not down right suspicious. I think the same.....its to accomodate the wolves a bit longer so they dont have to pay ranchers for awhile longer. It sure as hell isnt for the hunters, bank on that !!!

would be great to see them in bigger #s in these unit's and this is a good step in the rite direction what ever there reasoning is.
