I think it is bobcat but Im not sure. I see coyote all the time and this is smaller and looks different to me. There are many piles in this one spot all different ages. Any help on what to look for when identifying bobcat poo would be great.

Sure is a lot of poo lookers. :chuckle: No one can tell me if this is bobcat or not?

just saw this and yes I think that looks like cat crap...if there are many piles of many ages it is probably a territory marker spot...
now someone else will come along and tell me how wrong I am but figured I might help you with an opinion to get the ball rolling :)

Looks like cat crap to me as well.
Time to go kitty hunting.

bobcat potty dump, usually segmented as this is ...cat will be back great place for a trap
-
Looks like cat chit, but most bobbies usually try to cover it up. Therefore, I will say yote.

Tough to tell really, kind of a crappy picture. :twocents:

I am getting so many cat spots now. I want to get out so bad and start calling but I have this archery deer tag I should try to fill. I tried calling with the bow but had a cat come in and never got a shot. I decided to wait on calling until I can take the shotgun with me. I also want to trap but just cant get out every day to check traps. I would have to carry a very heavy trap for miles and then only have it set on the weekends.

Hard to tell from the pic, cats will be considerably smaller than yote crap, but looks like cat to me. Usually long and skinny, did you do the feel for freshness test like some of these Elk and Deer hunters? :chuckle: jk.

couple old piles and some newer wet Coyote crap

Kain not sure if you can take a doe or not,but when I have a doe tag all I use is a coyote call for the doe's the come right to ya

Coyote. Bobcat crap looks like regular old house cat poo, but a pinch, that's a joke, bigger. Also, you can tell what the direction is of said animal by the poo, by the point/tail of said poo. If it is flat on one end, that is the start of dumping. The pointed/pinched off on the othe rend, it's going in that direction. I know my chit !

I have had good luck calling deer with distress in the summer but never been able to get them to come in during hunting season. I will give it a shot this weekend though. Might get all sorts of things to come in besides a deer.
