Went out and did a little coyote calling the other day and had a double come in, I nailed the first one and had sagebrush in my way to try and get the double I still threw rounds at him though, check out the video
-
I should have had that double, but I had a weird shooting angle behind that sagebrush and didn't take my time to take a good shot, bad excuse I know  but I was still happy to finally get one with my .17
-
 he sure gave you the chance :bash: Cool video
-
Where do you want me to send that box of .17hmr bullets. :chuckle: Holy cow. That dog is educated now.
Oh well. Good job killing one of them.
-
It was my buddies cannon hf200 hd cam its a pretty nice cam, its an older model but still does the justice, Im going to start carrying and extra loaded clip for now on, I usually use my 257 roberts which had a loaded bullet sleeve on it :bash:
-
Great job with the 17, dropped him real good.
Who is doing the version of Bad Company?
-
Thanks :chuckle: My buddy and I edited the movie together and just threw some songs in there for the time being, were new to the video editing deal so were just playing around with it for now.
-
Well, I just found it with a quick search. It's Five Finger Death Punch doing that version, it rocks :rockin:
-
Ohh sorry I miss understood you, ya that's who sings it :chuckle:
-
Sweet video started with some good shootin and went down hill from there :chuckle: :chuckle:

"The Death Punch sound....it's our claim to fame"

"What if he is still alive." "Are you serious, I shot him in the face!"
:chuckle:
-
That is one of the coolest kill shots I have seen in awhile. That 2nd yote was crazy! I have never seen a yote give that many 2nd looks back!
-
Great job on the video and the music! Bring more bullets! LOL
-

:chuckle: :yeah: Love it. Keeps the video and the hunt real.

He kept looking around like what the hell is buzzing around my head.
Good job guys. Great music for the video
-
Nice shot and nice video too! Pretty impressive for a .17 actually.
-
I know I was pretty stoked with how well it did, I was a little worried how well it would do out past 100 yards but it did wonders at 150 :chuckle:
-
how do you guys get these coyotes so close is beyond me, closest i ever got to one was 420 yards, good video thanks
-
    very good video and good shooting just got remember everyone misses every now and then i know i have hahahaha
-
Great video! All i can say is RATS :chuckle: On the second yote!
-
My Cannon HF200 HD is 3 years old. It's small but has a good zoom and with a tri-pod it works great. That was our first video and with some more experience with this new video editing software, we should be able to start making some great videos. We decided to leave the "misses" and comedy in the video because it added to the realism. Im glad you guys enjoyed it.

Maybe we are on to something here :chuckle: Maybe he just thought it was a fly buzzing by his head :chuckle: My 223's and 7mm-08 I call with are a little louder :chuckle: So I might have to buy me a 17 and try it out :chuckle:

The little .17 did good, I think ill stick with head shots though cause im not sure what it would do to vitals?
-
Yeah it did. I have a buddy that has shot more then a few with them. I think head shots are a great idea with that cal past about 75 yards. At that range I am sure you will kill them but you will have a lot of runner. Those little suckers blow up pretty quick. We have shot my 22lr along with his 17hmr into a lot of yotes. I get a lot less runners at 50+ yards then him.
-
Ya I agree 100%
-
I bought one when they first came out ..a CZ nice walnut finish and I got rid of it with in a year ...shot awesome but way to many yotes running off unless shot in the head or neck ...my .22 mag will drop them quicker :yeah:
-
What bullet did you use? My buddy is always shooting the vmax bullets.
-
the horandy 17 gr vmax
-
I had 2 17 gr vmax in the clip fallowed up by 2 20 gr hallow points
-
Gotcha, I love the " what if he gets up" that one made me laugh :chuckle:
-
Haha yeah thats the second best part of the clip the first part is hearing the 17 gr bullet smack that yote and watch him drop in his tracks :IBCOOL:
