I haven't used the lith batteries before but I just got a trophy cam and it recommends them. I decided to get some and for 8 of them it was 21.99 :yike: just saw a 15 pack of duracells for 9.99. So, they any better?

Sounds like a  thanks!

We use lithium in all of our back country snow camp gear, head lamps, radios, camp lights, cameras etc..., really cold weather, and the lithium is the bomb. Way longer lasting than alkaline.

Worth the price you pay. Buy mine at Walgrens, :twocents:

Never used the lithiums...could not justify the cost. I use 8 AA coppertops in my trophy cam an it has taken over 8000 pics and still reads full battery life. With that being said I am not putting lithiums in it.

Curious to hear more comments on this thread. Personally I've had bad luck with lithium in cold weather. Sub 20

 I love them! had some in my trailcam and they lasted 16 months and were still good when I took them out :twocents:

If you are using equipment in cold weather (trailcams particularly) then they are more than worth the money.

google lithium and alkalines in cold weather no comparison in performance..lithiums are far superior hands down ...rechargeables are much better than alkalines. I just bought 8 lithiums at grocery store for $16

I recently bought a Moultrie D-80 mini and they recommended using lithium batteries. I decided to try some alkaline batteries the first time around and got maybe 400 pics before the batteries were completely dead. After that I paid the the 22 bucks for the energizer lithium's and have not been disappointed. My camera has taken 1000-1200 pics and still shows over 95% battery life. So in short...Yes, they are worth it!
Does anyone know a place/website that sells the lithium batteries cheap?

Guess I had a bad batch of lithiums. With all the advice, I think I will try them again.
