I for one, cannot wait to see the various profanity laced threads that will be forthcoming in regards to this project.
-
Well I already blessed it with a few "F" bombs, and a couple son-of-a- b's when I cut a hole in the bottom..

:chuckle: When you get like that, in my head, I can just picture Becky inside shaking her head with a smirk on her face.

that is a questionable idea there....you've seen those two together :o :chuckle: that poor boat might end up with more than hole in the bottom

No,, the only thing she does with boats is fish out of them..I'm on my own, until I ask for money..Then Becky wants a list of things she can say no too..

People, back off. Those of us with nautical knowledge, know the hole in the bottom was on purpose. That is where he is installing the through the hull sonar sensor. I also like the way he is planning for emergency meals. If you look closely you can see the start of the botanical garden inside the hull.. Yum Yum, watercress and alge sandwitches. Looking forward to seeing the finished item. With that said, I would like to remind you that I am 72 years old, and have a heart problem. You know, just saying. On the serious side, take your time, and enjoy.
-
Jerbear are you hinting that you would like to be the first mate on the new boat he Named Big Hole in the Bottom on it;s maiden trip out. He said the hole will help him spot crabs better and him keep low profile. He was going to make a new pole-can hardly wait to see that.
-
Double up on life jackets!!! And maybe survival suits before you get on the water.
-
I dare you to name it "Big Hole in the Bottom" :chuckle: that would be awesome
-
I could bring in some nice cabezon through that hole
-
If I didn't know any better, :dunno: I would think that y'all are trying to make me feel bad  but I know that can't be true..

Hope you got an Epirb for Christmas! :chuckle:
I can't give you too much crap, I've built and re-built several boats (commercial and pleasure) myself. The last one I help turn a 24 foot bomber style boat into a aft cabin bow picker gillnetter for a buddy. It is a pain in the butt, but a lot of fun as well. Good luck!

Just having fun kidding you Tony hope you can get her put together so we can get out there and fill her up with fish. Keep putting up the progress pictures. How long is this boat.

Just saw those pics, you've got your work cut out for you.
-
I've rebuilt a few boats also....A lot more fun than working on cars. Your doing it correctly by taking it down and removing all of the ugly
