For the 2012 season I will be hunting this unit for early archery deer along the timber company road between Johnson mountain and griffin mountain. Just curious if anyone has had any luck in this part of the unit the last few years. The harvest reports aren't that high for this unit but still want to give it a try. Also curious if it gets really crowded in there during this season because it is pretty close to Seattle. Any info would be wonderful. NOT LOOKING FOR ANYONES HONEY HOLES!

Thats all Murray land and walk in only. (good) Igot my first buck there. You can get to that area out of Glenoma but the easier and not as steep way is Murray rd about two miles outta Morton on Hwy 7. park at the gate and within a mile or so your in some good hunting. about 5 yrs ago went on horses and passed a logging crew going in and on the way out they told us that if we were 5 mins later we could have had a big 4 pt and nice 3pt. look up Murray rd,wa on google earth. Not a lot of pressure due to gates though. good area in my opinion
