With todays release of the 2012 WSU football schedule I have found myself in a bit of a pickle. I am both a die hard hunter and a die hard coug fan and alum. In the past I have always chosen deer season over the football games. However this year I am a season ticket holder. What makes it a little more tricky is that I normally hunt less than 10 miles from Martin Stadium. Do I go to the game or go hunting on opening day? I guess the best i can hope for is either get drawn for a multi season tag and fill it during either archery or muzzleloader, or get really lucky and fill it at first light so i can get to the game before kickoff. Why do two of the greatest things have to be at the same time. GO COUGS!

Easy one for me, hunting comes first!

:yeah: hunting for sure!

ive always agreed to that in the past missing several games that i was in pullman for but hunting instead. Im just really excited for cougar football this year.

You may be asking the wrong group of guys.... :chuckle:
I know what I'd do...and it wouldn't involve much football...

If it were Huskies tickets, it might be a harder decision, but since it's just WSU tickets, definitely go hunting. You won't miss much.

get t-vo, go hunting and never miss a game again!

:yike: Does this reqiure a tag or is it open to hunt?!?! :chuckle: :chuckle:
On a serious note, I was in a similar dilemma. Do I hunt on a saturday when I know my DUCKS are playing or do I stay home and watch the game...my mother-in-law answered that for me and I brought home the guy in my avatar. Deboned him and watched the game at the same time. :IBCOOL:
GO DUCKS!

Always choose the " hairy kind of game" not the one that involves pig skin. :chuckle:

Going to games is not my cup of tea (can't stand the crowds and all the yelling). I would choose hunting anyday. When I was in college "not WSU" I used to hunt on saturdays during football season close enough to hear the cannons after a touchdown. I didn't even miss it then.

there will always be football... who knows when you won't be able to hunt anymore? ask yourself, how would I feel if I found out someone killed a giant buck in my spot and I was watching a college football game?

This may be a harder decision if the Cougs actually won once in a while.....carefull I am a wsu alum as well. But beings that they suck, GO HUNTING.

:yeah: I agree with that to
