Title: New gun safe
Post by: denali on January 12, 2012, 06:28:12 PM: after many years of putting it off, I bought one - Champion trophy series 42 from Ranch & Home, on sale for $ 1599.00 not sure how great of deal it is but it needed to get done.

I even have room room for MORE guns whoo hoo!

I had not thought about the ammo? it is some old stuff I got from my grandfather years ago, I will empty out the shells and just keep the boxes. thanks again.

Post by: wraithen on January 13, 2012, 06:46:38 PM: Your ammo won't explode in the safe. Look at sportco, they store a bunch of powder in safes there. The worry with ammo in there is the potential for extra corrosion from what I've always been told.

wife said that my guns need to wear "protection" to prevent unplanned yung'ns :con: :chuckle:

we can do that sometime 400out, will be a kick.
