Dug out a couple more for you. Some bucks in early November snow. The first pic was on the WSB newsletter a few years back.

Again, here is another Methow buck. This was when I started shooting. I was using a Canon AE1 with a 50-175mm lens. I spotted two U shapes a long ways away. I trudged way up the mountain and snuck up under the two boys. As I crested the ridge, this was the view I got. I crested the ridge and caught them both looking back at me. I'll see if I can drdge up that pic. This is scanned of a 3x5 image. Sorry the scan isn't nearly like the original.(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv47%2Fboneaddict%2Fsnow5.jpg&hash=116d8a23c373f37840f77952c277b9184f63d810)

New one for you .....I took my nephew out the day after Thanksgiving, and it yeilded this buck along with his first elk. A pretty successful day.

After thanksgiving? isn't that when the local season starts up there?
;)

It depends if you are a Lummi or a Colville. For the rest of us White boys, you just have to keep your head low. By the way, when I said his first elk, I meant he saw it, not shot it. I would hate for anyone to think I fell into the Colville crowd.

Couple more....
