Title: FoxPro Fury
Post by: Bandit on January 14, 2012, 06:13:28 PM
I just got the FoxPro Fury and I am also new to yote hunting.  Does anyone have a programmed sequence they would like to share?

Honestly, to me half the fun is experimenting and coming up with sequences on your own.  :twocents: The way it's been going for me this year, maybe I should ask the same question!

Only tip i have for you is to turn the back speaker off. It will triple your battery life. They are nice but they chew up the battery's. Mine only works for about two stands with both speakers on. As far as sounds go I like the birds and the higher pitched rabbit sounds.

Cory what batteries are you using? My fury lasts all day for me and I run both. You need to get some better ones.

bandit mix your sounds up and play with some different stuff. They can be called with a ton of stuff. It's getting cold again and they are getting hungry.

Everything under the sun man. Same results with all of them.

I own one and 2 of my friends do as well. You should call them and send it it. I bet it has some kind of problem. There is no way it should only last for only a hr or so. Hell and its not like you have it on for the whole time on stand either. so if you are on stand for 30 mins each and it dies after 2 stands then you are only getting probably like 40 mins out of it! That's not right. I bet we get close to 4+ hrs of run time out of ours. I know more then a few people on here that have them and they will tell you the same thing.

I guess i should call them. It does well with only one speaker but if i run two it dies after two stands. I'll call on Tuesday.

Yeah maybe your back speaker has a short that zaps the life when its on.

Sorry for the jack, just wanted to get things figured out for everyone :chuckle:

You can go to the hobby shop and get a "matched set" of AA 2500mah batteries (rechargeable). Try that! Batteries plus may also carry them.

I run the Foxpro batteries and the seem to last along time in my firestorm. I have ran both speakers all day and not had any issues.

I'd start with 30 sec of calf bawl wait 2 min then cougar in heat, wait another 2 min then use cougar dying scream lastly use male coyote challenge on max volume. A word of caution if you use this sequence you better have a 300mag or larger cause you'd want to kill whatever comes in on the 1st shot as it's probably the biggest and meanest son of a b**** around.  :chuckle:

always go out with fresh batteries in the foxpro and extras.   :twocents:  Like to call with rabbit and vole peeps.  I've heard yote pup distress will bring em back if they seem hard to reel in.
