I was looking at buying some core4element gear from camofire, do you guys have any reviews for me?

Have one or two pieces, haven't heard or read anything bad about it.

I just ordered the Switchback pants and a Merino 190 crew top. I have the top already and I like it although I haven't used it in the field yet.
I also bought some Guide Gear from Gander Mountain that I like as well. I was looking for midweight I could layer with my jackets.

I ordered and am waiting for a pair of their switchback pants. I own one of their Merino wool tops in Mountain Mimicry. I purchased it off of Camofire and I am pretty happy with it. I like the Mountain Mimicry pattern and I think Core4Element was better quality than Kryptek stuff. Core4's cut was well designed and they used flatlock stitching which holds up well. I would not pay full price for it, but the Camofire prices make it a good deal. :twocents:

Have purchased pants, jacket, baselayers 190 merino, and long sleeve shirt. Great stuff for the price off of Camofire. The merino wool has worked great, especially the last few days in this cold wet weather. The cut and mobility are great, durable as well. Breathe ability OK, but not quite as great as my Sitka. :twocents:

Do the pants run true to size in the waist? I keep seeing their stuff pop up on Camofire and have been interested, just haven't been sure of the quality

I just got my pants in the mail and the XL were a little snug on me. I am a 38 waist (now) I like the weight and the feel, we'll see how they handle the field

I've been really pleased with Core4's merino baselayer/underware.
bought a set of camo pants-zip t pullover shirt from camofire, Just to try while hunting the past couple weekends for Arizona coues deer. The Core4 works good, fit is good.
but overall, it is a copy of my Sitka clothes. Quality is not as good as the Sitka either. Ironic since I believe both are made in China or somewhere in Asia.
So the pattern I puchased in Core4 is max one and will be back up to my sitka outfits in optifade forest and open country.
