Did you see it go down? If not have you called wdfw, there is always that slight chance it could be some more pneumonia showing up.

amount of blood showing I would say it's been there for a day or so :dunno:

It happened last night, and YOU BETTER HOPE its not pneumonia. Different herd, and no I didn't call the WDFW. About a 90% chance it was a cougar.

That is what I figured based on the blood in the snow. But you can never be too careful when it comes to sheep and pneumonia. Also there were a group of 12 rams that were traveling back and forth from the clemans herd to the Umptanum herd last spring (info from the regional bio). Not sure if this is clemans also but just a guess.
