Keep story short since I have to get ready for work soon. Canoed out to a point where my brother scouted yesterday on pretty much the only lake open. Set our decoys out but looked all sloppy because the water was too deep. Didn't have any ducks come into the spread but they did a drive by for me to be able to get two. Wasn't the best prepared today. Our white sheets to cover us up helped but kept getting tangle in them and too slow to shoot. Also, i forgot I only had ten shells so after we were out of them we had to pack up and leave. Short hunt but beats my average success rate.
