Title: Dbhawthorne's big bucks?
Post by: oldleclercrd on January 27, 2012, 09:22:05 PM: Where are the pics? Have they lost their sheds? I mean if you want to keep all the cool stuff to yourself thats fine, but im kinda having withdrawls from some new "one eye" pics among others. :bash:

If I would have seen that pic before I took off I probably would have poked around a bit to see if I could find that one antler.

Post by: oldleclercrd on January 30, 2012, 08:08:07 PM: So I went to check my camera this weekend and had 786 pics in just a couple of weeks. They were mostly elk and does. This is the first time ive had elk at this camera and they ate 100lbs of hay in just a few days. Not complaining about the elk pics but I was hoping the hay would last a little longer for the deer.

Unfortunately (and fortunately) nobody can access "one eye" after 1 December without walking miles through snow. Nobody bowhunts the area except for me and the last pic I received of him was one blurry photo on 29 Novmeber...so he lived another year :tup:...... (now he just needs to survive the weather, lions, wolves and old age)

Post by: DBHAWTHORNE on January 30, 2012, 10:16:43 PM: The last 3 1/2 and up bucks I had on cam dropped their antler in the first week of January. A bunch of younger bucks were still holding antlers.
