Title: Remington model 11 shotgun

Does anyone else have a remington model 11 shotgun?  I just got one from my dad and it has no model numbers or anything on it.  I guess I really don't know its a model 11, all it says is remington and a serial number- 170946.  Just wondering if anyone knows how to tell when it was made or anything, there are no other numbers or anything on it.

I know its a browning made gun.  A semi auto 12 gauge.

The Remington model 11 is a John Browning design, but it was manufactured by Remington.

#170946 would be pre 1919, probably around 1917

yes, i have one.  remington version of the A5.  not made by browning, just a licensed copy.

I have one too. Fun gun, I still take it out occasionaly. Youd think they were worth something but they arent unfortunately
