Title: Hit the Ronde over the weekend
Post by: huntnnw on January 29, 2012, 10:43:53 PM: Went down and fished the Ronde over the weekend...fishing was extremely slow.Saturday the Fish tech checked us and I had the only steelie he had check all day. My dad and brother were skunked which is a oddity they always catch fish. I took my girlfriend down for here first ever steelhead adventure and took her to my little hole she got skunked the first day,but today she hooked 3 and landed 2 of them. We ended up with 7 hooked and 6 landed for the weekend.

Nope..its a secret :chuckle: there is a way to fish that hole and 99% of the people who fish it fish it wrong. And what we were using isnt done by most. I used my traditional setup the first am with yarn and corky with 0 fish..2 casts to my little setup and fish on

there are a certain few holes on the river when water stays low enough that you can hook 20+ steelhead a day in.
