My fav!  If that thing were at our table, there wouldn't be any leftovers.  What's inside there?

leftover chicken breast, diced onions, tater, celery, carrots,a bit of garlic,I made the stock out of the carcass, sauteed;d the veggies till almost cooked through, made a roux then added the stock and thickened it,at the last minute before adding to the pie I put frozen peas in..

Thanks Rasbo.  My wife makes killer pastry crust.  I got leftover chicken, so I'm trying this tonight, long as she'll make the crust!  Looks dang good!

the crust I made was 2 1/2 cups of flour, with a 1/2 tsp salt.2 cubes of cold butter cut into the flour until its like a dirt consistency.Add about a 1/2 cup of ice water tablespoon at a time till it will just come together and form a ball, refer for a hr or so then cut in half for top and bottom crust

O.K. RASbo that was pretty easy.  Sauteed up the vegies and made the sauce.  Conned my wife into making her crust.  It's cooling right now & I'm having some homemade hard cider from this fall's pressing.  Johnagold brew and some chicken pie.

Life couldn't be better!

I never tried game in a pot pie.  Sounds like a great idea.  Did you boil the rabbit up first?  Gotta get them tender somehow...

I make individual pot pies in larger ramakins..... similar to these http://tinyurl.com/6vte7hq (http://tinyurl.com/6vte7hq)

If ultra lazy you can just use a quick biscuit topping and not have pastry to rollout.
