Started out okay but been trouble since the outfitter is having trouble getting anything set up with the rancher Have made numerous calls but nothing has been set up yet I am starting to wonder. Will let you know if an when we are supposed to be able to get a big one so hope to have some pictures for you not quite as easy as setting up a catfish trip but we are ready.

My boy was going to use his bow don;t think I am a good enough shot with the longbow but going to practice with Rasbo this summer and might try it for deer if I can become okay out to maybe 30 yards. Some days I feel good about my shooting then next day not so good but just love the bow.

Consistency in all parts of the shot... thats the only way to make it work. Draw the same way, to the same anchor point... use your back muscles to hold that full draw and dont "let the string go"... just... quit holding onto it... :chuckle: and pull through your release, dont collapse into it as the string goes... It takes a lot of work to get consistent at 30 yards. 20 is Much easier...after 25 or so you really have to have your chit together!!

Circle the riser with your thumb and index finger...dont choke the riser... just let it sit in your hand and dont "grab" it at the release... just keep it corralled with your fingers...

Good Luck guys!
