Only one more week tell I pick up my new wall tent :IBCOOL:
I have a question for those with wall tents.
With my new tent I am only getting the internal frame angle's with my tent, and the tent manufacturer calls for 1" EMT conduit for the frame.
Is 1" EMT strong enough?

It works fine for me, but if you try to put the tent up or down by yourself you can bend the frame. My tent is 16x23 so it's a little work for 2, if your tent is smaller you might be fine. But to answer your question, they are strong enough but they can bend. Measuring the frame and cutting it to the right length sucks, hopefully it's easier for you than it was for me. Good luck

Plenty strong Jason. We have three and have always used the 1" EMT.
Only had one year where the Blues bent us up pretty good, but we had 84 mph (sustained) winds all night!
Yes...it was an unforgettable, sleepless night! :yike:
