got a new toy last night, whats it need? Looking for tips on good apps and what not, for anything.
Thanks!
-
Any type in particular? Games, news, weather, information?
-
useful stuff, I got angry birds already, lol. craigslist, ebay, I dont know, curious what those with these things use the most.
-
Ballistics calculator is a must.
-
I probably have around a dozen or so on mine, but honestly just go to the app store and pick top 25 free apps. Download one that sounds interesting, try it and just delete it if it's lame. The one's i use most often are Scrabble ($1.99), Army of Darkness, KXLY weather for the doppler, and Ace casino. Have fun!

Check out Cabelas recon hunt it is a sweet app

:yeah:
one thing i really don't like about recon hunt is you can't actually download any of the maps. they'e saved in your "catche" *spelling* when you scroll the map within internet range,.. it s not very reliable on my phone...
i like Backcountry Navigator. you can actually download the maps and have them on your phone.
but Backcountry Navigator doesn't have the online trip planner like recon hunt does. i use both :)

If you work or live near the ocean or sound or columbia river the 'marine traffic' app is cool. You can get the info of the ship that is near you. Also shows the ports and which ships are at port.

I have Trophy Score, it works pretty well.

Good question, I have never thought about that. I just got it out and entered just one side worth of info, basically scoring a shed, and it gave a gross score but not net, so yes it works.

still stockpiling fun apps, so many out there!
-
If you have kids, "Where's My Water?" is a fun game. "Bubble Ball" will teach them some physics and is fun as well, a 14 year old came up with this app and now brings in more $ annually than the parents.
-
If you want a fun time killer download "High Noon" its a real time quick draw game. Also "Moon Tracker" is a must, keeps you up to date on sunrise/sunset times as well as moon phases. "Outdoor Channel" is another good app and "Photosynth". All (4) of these apps are free. Have fun with the new toy.
-
thanks, moon tracker must be an expired app, cant find it.
-
Your right, the one i have downloaded no longer exists. Type in "Moon Phase" and there are some good options.
-
I know this is a year old. I searched apps and this is the thread I found.
Are there any new apps? Im looking at Backcountry Navigator for $10. Reviews are good.
:dunno:
