Well, not really......Kind of a hybrid of my own doing. Its my heavy water fly. Works for just about any salmon or steelhead. I tied it mostly for Canada Chum fishing....heavy water. Works as deaddrifting as well as swinging on heavy sink.

With that big lead eye, that's a chuck-n-duck.

Yeah, I've been thumped a couple times. Dug out of my shoulder more than once. :chuckle: Thankfully I de-barb, so it comes out better.

I like the one you have on FB Red/purple! :)
Here is one of mine with turkey feathers.
-
Nice Tie. I haven't mastered marrying feathers yet.

Really cool    ! I did not do this one! Out of my league! lol, but it was my turkey fan :) I have a friend that is retired and does absolutely nothing but flyfish and tie
-
He did what mine lacks.....or vice versa actually. Mine was too bulky and something I struggle with, but its a fun hobby.

LMAO have not heard that since Alaska. I got hit in the back of the head from about a 15 yr old kid that was trying to throw a 3/4 oz sinker on an 11wt rod. Was not a nice day.

Nice flies, gents. Here's my old standby pattern. Caught more fish on it than anything else. If they don't bite it, well I guess they just aint very hungry.
-
YEP....have caught a lot of fish on that pattern myself, from Steelhead to Cutthroat. Nice fly.
-
Yeah, that orange caddis imitation works well both west and eastside. I am a sucker for a nice lookin' Dee or Spey fly. Good job guys.
-
Nice Stimulator, caught a few on that same fly myself... Lets see some more pics, I may have to break out the fly tying gear now!!
