Title: Beaver set on dry land
Post by: gramps on February 03, 2012, 05:11:23 PM: They been working on this tree and the water is too deep and swift, so I set a cage on the bank with some mud from a castor mound and caught this 50 pounder.

Post by: gramps on February 04, 2012, 10:00:42 AM: BobM...the trap is 12W and 14H, 36L..same one that the fox was in. The photo does not show it very well, but yes the back end is beat up...he tried to chew thru' all the wire on the end as well as pushed it loose. Will need to work on that soon.
3nails...no added castor..will add some in the AM.
