Title: Free Float Question
Post by: dannysdaddy on February 13, 2012, 07:45:54 PM: anyone have any advice on how to mount a picitanny rail n the bottom of a freefloat tube to mount a bipod? I have seen people take them off to do it but they never line up correctly. is the metal thick enough to really tap threads? this is on an AR15.

Post by: KillBilly on February 13, 2012, 08:13:35 PM: I have drilled and tapped several tubes for rails. they are thick enough as long as you have the correct drill and tap.
