I got footage of this coyote yesterday, I don't think its a albino because I was reading on it and is should have a pink nose and a pink eyes and in one of the pics you can tell he has a black nose and dark eyes, pretty cool though :)
-
That would make a cool rug.
-
I was planning a full mount before I missed :bash:
-
Yeah, very cool, I'd be looking to shoot that one and have him rugged or something.
-
DOHHHHH!
-
I was planning a full mount before I missed :bash:
If at first you don't succeed...... :bash:

I missed a black one in the wenas one morning. Long shot, him trotting. Saw him for 3 years off and on. Never got him. I have never seen a white one. That would have been an amazing trophy. I guess we all have a "white whale"
-
That is very cool, I know what id be doing every weekend tell next deer and elk season.
-
By the way, I commend you for taking a pic before opening fire. I thought I was the only crazy one. :)
-
I actually got it on on film these are just pictures off the film
-
Awesome pics!

I would imagine a coyote like that could get the adrenaline flowing, I'll be checking back to see if there are any future pics of that dog. Good luck!
-
That's only the 2nd white one I have seen. Someone else this last year "in the last few months" posted a picture of a dead one at the taxidermists. What a cool animal! I have also messed with a few black ones and funky coy dogs over the year. We had a litter about 10 years back above one of our chunks of ground that had some funky brown and black pups. I am sure they were a cross with German Shepard or another dog of that color.
-
Thats very cool ... I have seen one in the early 90s and I always have a rifle on me but this particular day I did not ... went back and called around that area a few times but no luck ...seen alot of color phase ones that look like a blackish silver fox with a white tip on its tail ... been a few of them shot by guys I know ....
-
looks like an artic fox. cool
-
he would be a bitch to see in the snow! Nice dog go after him he shouldn't be far ;)
-
Wow, very neat. Hope you can get em.
-
pretty cool! I guy we used to hunt with saw a white one in the entiat one year.
-
I'd be going back out trying for him again.
-
When I was 16 I called in a white one, he came in from behind, I didn't hear him until he was 15 feet from me, then when I turned he spooked and I never got a shot. :bash:
There was a local guy who years ago had a white coyote he killed locally mounted, he has passed away and I don't know what happened to the coyote.
FYI - I'm not sure if it's legal to shoot any albino animals now, seems like I saw something in the regs of one of the northwest states about that.
-
Yeah I'm pretty sure your right about not being legal to shoot an albino animal, but I'm also pretty sure its not an albino judging by the color of his nose and eyes, he has a black nose and dark eyes. :dunno:
-
That's the first white one I have scene. Very cool.
-
Very cool
-
That it sweet it's he's snow camo lol
-
I'd be going back out trying for him again.
:yeah: very cool though, regardless
-
I just looked, and there isn't anything in the Washington Hunting Seasons & Regulations at all about it being illegal to shoot an Albino animal. I have read that some states prohibit the killing of Albinos, but apparently, Washington does not.
PS: That does not look like an Albino coyote. No pink eyes and nose... Probably just a color "phase".
-
Great Pic
-
That would make a cool rug.
thats the first thing that came to my mind...
-
That's sweet.... Never seen a white one before.... Too bad you missed....
-
Yes, you can shoot albino's in Washington now. It used to be illegal.
