Not sure this link will work but I'll try..
My 19 year old son has also been in a archery slump.. Like forever! Last year broke the jinx, and he took this nice blacktail forky with his bow. It was in the Willamette Valley with his Willamette tag. He had a close encounter with a massive 4x4 and hunted 21 days straight trying to kill that buck.. It was legal light but he couldnt see his pins while he was inside the blind.. I told him to take his shotgun also (Willamette tag is ANY weapon).. He could have killed that big buck twice if he had, but he was going to get one with his bow or nuthin he said..
I got to hunt with him on a Saturday, and we rattled this guy in.. We found out as this buck fell that we also rattled in a 3x2 at the same time, but I think this fork was more mature..
