Title: 2008 silverado 1500 vapor canister valve

I have a 2008 silverado 1500 with 5.3 and is throwing code for evap control solenoid. I have researched this and seems to be vapor vent valve or.solenoid. anyone else have this issue with Chevy or GMC truck? Did you fix it yourself?
