can anyone help me with the quilomene buck hunt

I've scouted it, used to be my first draw choice until they cut permits way back. Best advice I could give is good long range optics. Gotta have 'em. Find a good vantage point and settle in, that's pretty much the game there. I take it you got drawn? With how many points?

Which hunt did you get drawn for? Rifle, Muzzleloader, or Bow.

Pary for a lot of snow in the higher western mountains. The really good bucks don't come in until they have to. I like to horseback ride this country and see a lot of country. If the roads are drivable, you can glass from the roads and see a lot of country as well. Have fun; it's a very good draw.

Pray for snow. Who's proof reading my typing???????????

Its a good permit..as far as location...you might try calling the manager of the Colockum wildlfie area..call the region 2 or 3 office. Snow helps pick em out and get them lower for ya. I know guys that have drawn that permit and done good and some that did bad...primarily weather related. Good Luck.
