Title: Broadhead Sharpener
Post by: Slider on July 27, 2008, 06:26:24 PM
I have some Dull heads and never could sharpen anything worth a darn so I ordered one of these today. Has anyone used one? How did you like it. Here is a link. On the home page there are video's to show you how to use it.

I received the sharpener yesterday. This mourning I sat down with a cup of Joe and started sharpening. You might want to wake up first.  :hello: I started with some First Cut 2 Blades. They are strait on the edge. Once I got the hang of it it was simple!!! They got sharp in a Hurry!!! After I had the system mastered(or so I thought)  :chuckle: I moved on to some Silver Flames. They have a curved blade which is harder to sharpen. And again once I got the hang of it they also got sharp in a hurry!!! It does a VERY GOOD job of keeping your Broadhead at the correct angle. I would Highly recommend it. The problem with it is it won't sharpen a fixed broadhead. Like a Montec. It will sharpen any two blade any removable blade Broadhead and all removable bleeder blade's. If you already had sharpening stone's it would be about 35 dollars. It's well made and should last forever. Good Luck
