Does anyone have a spot hogg whammy on their bow? I am going to switch to a drop away from a whisker biscuit because my fletching contacts my cables on my bowtech general and when I turn my nock so that the cock feather is facing out instead of up my fletching hits the whisker biscuit. This looks like a good rest, just wondering what people that have used it thought. Will I be able to turn my nock so my cock feather is out and have no contact with the drop away or does the cock feather always have to be facing down for prong style drop aways?

I have one on my Guardian! Talked Tmike into getting one on his bow too! One of the best rests I have ever used and super simple to set up! The one things that I like most about it is the fact that if the cord breaks for some reason you still have a prong rest to use for that shot of a lifetime! :chuckle: But honestly - it's super simple and one of the best rests on the market in my opinion.

Tmikes not the only one Jon you're gonna be setting one up on my bow when I change string & cables here soon ... you just don'y know it yet! :)

So does it matter which way you align the cock fletching or should the rest drop away so no matter which way the fletching is it should clear?

The rest should fall away before the fletchs get to it.

I love mine so far. I had it for a few weeks only. That video says it all. Thanks Jon

How quiet is it? Does the arrow make any sound when it contacts the prong and is flung from the string? The one I saw at sportsmens in federal way didn't have that rubber coating on it, is there some kind of material that comes with it to quiet it at all?
-
Well I don't have one yet but I have shot tmikes bow and I have stood there while he has shot and it is the quietest bow I hav ever heard!
Now I'm sure it is the whole set up (the gaurdian) but if the rest wasn't quiet it would stick out like a sore thumb! And so to answer your question~ No it doesn't make a sound that I can tell!

Thanks for the info should work good on my bowtech general then and hopefully fix my issue with fletching/cable contact.

It doesn't make any noise at all... Probably one of the quietest rests I have heard for that matter. Also, it comes with two teflon black pieces to put over the prongs to quiet the arrow sliding across them.
