Title: And I thought island deer were small....
Post by: lokidog on March 06, 2012, 08:12:07 PM: So, we were down in Costa Rica a week ago... was it only a week? :'(

In the Curu Wildlife Refuge (SE tip of the Nicoya Peninsula) we got to see some whitetails (they are actually Costa Rica's National Animal). OMG, were they small! Here are some pics.
