-
Looked like a beautiful day.
-
Nice! Yup, it looked like a great day outside!
-
Whats the best thing to use for bait?
-
When I fish for them I release, and bait is just night crawlers for me. We ended up catching 5 carp and one trout
-
Sounds like fun. Do they fight good?
-
I have heard of big city folks grinding them into fish patties with meat grinders. They say, Its good! I say, no thanks! :puke:
-
1 CARP gutted and cleaned.
lay on tin foil, pre-heat oven to 400 DEG. Salt and pepper the meat with a butter sauce added in.
OH NEVER MIND, THROW IT ON THE BANK :chuckle:
-
They fight awesome on my girls trout rid with 4lb. test. My grandpa used to give his carp he shot to a Hispanic lady that canned them and he said it was good. I fried it once and literally hurled

Carp are good eating. Its a nice white fish. If its coming out of a muddy watersource then youll want to let it sit in a big tub for a few days with nice clean water. If out of fresh water you can eat right away.
Gut it, scale it, then cook it like you would any white fish. Grill, bake, broil, poach?

I will go catch on on a fly rod. boy is it fun. Even better fly fishing off a dam catching a 15 lber on one :o.
One thing is for sure that is the spot to catch carp at. I have had a little bit of fun there also .
Are you saying you know my secret spot? Can't have that :chuckle:
